Leaders, are You in the Drivers Seat? - Striving Styles Lecture Series

There is a huge difference between leading authentically and playing the role of a leader correctly. The latter takes you out of the driver’s seat and further from meeting your own predominant needs as the person doing the leading. The development of an authentic leader requires both self-awareness as well as significant skills in leadership. Self-awareness and inner transformation or maturity is what is most needed to satisfy the needs of others and the needs of the leader. Many leaders do not know how to break out of a pattern of leading with the rational brain or imitating others leadership styles. They do not know how to develop and live their own personal leadership style in a constructive way.

The Striving Styles System goes beyond other personality type systems and identifies the need that drives the behavior of the individual leading.

Come gain a better understanding of how your Striving Style can put you back in the drivers seat as a leader.

The Striving Styles System, an evolution of Carl Jung’s Psychological Type, is an easy, yet profound way of understanding the nature of different personalities and the predominant need that must be met for each Style. The predominant need must be satisfied and it drives behaviour and ensures psychological balance. The system focuses on the eight distinct needs of personality: how they are prioritized, how each Style acts when self-actualizing and how behavior changes when they are being self-protective.
